General Info

Mis-focus.com was bought on December 8th 2001 from Activewebhosting, and opened on December 12th 2001.  This host offers "unlimited" bandwidth but there is no such thing.  Also if you use a lot of bandwidth your ftp accounts began to mix up with other ftp accounts.  The uptime is great but if your wanting a big site with many hostees this host I would not recommend.  Then I was hosted by Cyberpixels but they cancelled all greymatter usage so I left them.  I then started using Lypha but with the amount I was paying monthly for mis-focus and oc-addict I couldn't afford to pay a host for my personal site.  Now I host my own site on my oc-addict.com server just mis-focus is an add-on domain.

Before I bought Mis-focus I was on Geocities for a few days when I got hosted by candy-sprinkles.net, which is gone now.  I was there for about 2 months when I decided I was better off buying my own space.  Been here for 4 years and I'm still not sick of the name.

The name I got it off Billy's (uk artist) cd case.  She called one of her songs mis-focusing.  I took off the ing and my domain name was born.

 

Hosting

Hosting is invite only at the moment, unless your one my friends then don't be afraid to ask.
